Domaine de La Royrie
This beautiful venue provides all year round tasting of estate oils, oil sessions and estate tour (Gold Medal for AOP olive oil). It is open all year round for groups or individuals by appointment only.  At time of writing, there is no cost for these tours.

Domaine de La Royrie are Olive oil producers AOP , Bio and gold medalists in Grasse.  Le Domaine de la Royrie offers high-end olive oils directly from the property.  They also create “auxiliary taste ” gastronomic products designed from organic products grown on site.

Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation
La cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation du Puy-en-Velay is a major monument of Romanesque art and the Christian West. It was erected in minor basilica a papal brief of Pius IX , 11 February 1856.

The Vierge noire (Black Madonna), subject of numerous pilgrimages over the centuries, stands on a high altar Baroque . The current effigy replaces that which would be provided by Saint Louis on his return from the Crusade of Egypt , which was burned during the French Revolution .

Notre Dame du Puy cathedral stands at the foot of Corneille rock, a promontory original volcanic dominated by a statue of the Virgin cast steel from cannons captured from the Russians at Sebastopol.

The cathedral features several remarkable altarpieces, and a sight not to be missed if you are an art lover!
